I am having a new problem. When I upload a video to a new assignment, it just spins.
I have let it go for an hour, and still no video. I will see the title of the video, but not the actual video. Is there anything I can check to tell if I am doing this properly?
Thanks!
Hi there @suzanneKirkham ,
I wonder if your course is near the max amount of file storage permitted, and the video you're trying to upload will exceed that limit.
Just to confirm -- you're using one of the supported file types, right? Supported File Types for Media
I have plenty of space. I am adding MP4 files.
Hi Suzanne,
Are you ensuring that uploading is complete and it's in the processing stage before you are saving the page? Clicking save before allowing the video to finish uploading will result in an unsuccessful embed.
Are you in your course or in Canvas Studio? Each can behave a bit differently, so knowing this could help if someone has seen this before.
Have you tried refreshing the page? I have seen videos spin like that in Canvas Studio, but refreshing after a few minutes helped clear it most of the time (a bit longer wait for larger files).
I am having this same issue. I've tried all of the above to clear it, but nothing works.
The videos in my first two pages work fine. But all of the videos after that won't load.
