I am taking a class at Miramar College this semester that is part lecture and part lab. How do I listen to the lectures in Canvas? Will it be clear to me on the first day of class?

Hi Lisa,
Yes, I think everything will become clear on the first day of class.
If your course is taught asynchronously, then your instructor will "publish" your course on Canvas on or before the first day of class. Then you'll be able to log in and do the work there. Your instructor may have recorded videos for you to watch as well as provide reading materials and activities.
If your course will be taught "remotely" using Zoom, then look for an email from your instructor with the Zoom meeting code. You may receive that email a few days before the start date of your course.
