I have not heard of a way to upload a DVD into Canvas Studio. These two Guides would help in uploading video files to Studio:
But, you're also going to need copyright approval from the publisher of that video to put it entirely online. I'm not exactly sure what that will all entail for your needs, but you'll definitely want to investigate that.
You'll also see that the maximum file size for uploading a media file to Canvas Studio is 10 GB. So, depending on how long the video is, you may not be able to upload it anyway due to the constraints on file sizes.
