issues uploading mpeg video

I created a video using google meet and want to upload the video into studio.  When I select this video to upload I get an error message "please upload an upload an audio or video files.  I don't know why this mpeg video is not accepted.  If I use a recording that I recorded using the camera function on my chromebook, a video loads fine...it has mpeg video as its file type.

Hi there, @BrandyKerr ...

It sounds like your file does meet one of the supported file types for Studio...as indicated here:

What file formats does Canvas Studio support? - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com)

You might just want to double-check, though, to make sure that your video file is a type that is listed on that Guide.  Have you tried converting the video to some other file type to see if that work instead...such as a *.mp4 video file?

If you are still not able to get it uploaded, you might want to have a conversation with Canvas Support.
