Canvas studio does not seem to recognize my laptop's camera.

Does anyone know how to re-activate, or have Canvas studio recognize, my laptop's built-in camera? I'm trying to record a video announcement, and the camera light on my laptop is showing "on", but the video screen when trying to record is black and blank. I can still record audio, but it's as if something is blocking or covering up the video feed.

This may be a silly question, but does your laptop have any kind of physical cover or some sort of built-in slider that covers up the lens of the camera?  I know that I have that kind of feature on my own Windows 11 laptop, and it's not real obvious where it is...but I can use my fingernail to slide the switch so that the camera is essentially blocked from recording my video (but still using the microphone).  Maybe that's happening with your laptop?  Just a guess.
