Excel export from Quiz or Assessment

Hi, newbie here, I am trying to complete an assignment or a Quiz and have the Excel CSV download the name of the student who has completed the set task and, most importantly for my filing system, I need the DATE they completed the Quiz/ Assignment. 

In a perfect world I could see the attempt and the date attempted and the mark given on a spreadsheet I could download. This would show me all students in the course and where they are at on any given date.

IS this a thing? I have only seen the assignment area where the CSV file downloads the name of the student with the assignment at the top and the % for each assignment. I don't seem to be able to have the CSV produce a date the result was recorded on. 

Thoughts?

Hi Adam, 

Unfortunately, I don't think we would have a csv file that gives when a given grade was entered; the closest option would be the gradebook history or gradebook export, but the history option doesn't have an exportable CSV file, and the gradebook export doesn't have dates on when grades were given. 

Do you mind confirming where you got the CSV file image you're referencing from? I'm not familiar with that given layout on any of the CSV's in Canvas.
