I am having trouble recording screen on Canvas Studio. I successfully recorded lectures a year ago, and seems there were some updates that caused a roadblock. Today, with a 2020 Mac book pro, I cannot record my ppt lecture with webcam. The record icon appears, but after recording, only the webcam image and a BLANK DESKTOP appear recorded. What tf is the problem? I'm stooped.

Hi Elias,
In this case, we would probably want to know more about your macbook, such as what version of MacOS it's using and what browser you're using, but based on your error it's likely Studio doesn't have access to record on your Macbook, so it shows that "blank desktop" message. I would recommend going to the system preferences app on your Macbook, and then security and privacy, and ensuring that the section under "screen recording" has a checkmark next to the browser you're using, and/or screencast-o-matic first.
