Is it possible to fix the sound on a recording?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hello @TeriWebb - it depends on what you wish to do. If this is an already recorded and published video then to edit sound it is necessary to download the content from Studio and use specialized software to isolate the sound track, make the desired adjustments, then upload the finalized project back into Studio. So in brief, no, that cannot be done within Studio alone.
That said, if you are using the Create > Screencast-o-Matic option to record, there is an option when editing the recording (that is, ahead of publishing to Studio), where we can adjust the narration silence behavior, export a wave file to enable editing in 'real' audio software such as Audacity, and importing WAVE files (after editing). Also, a music track can be added as well via the Screencast-o-matic edit interface.
