Studio Not Loading

Studio isn't loading for me in Canvas. have been unable to access my Studio recordings for 24+ hrs. Additionally, no video is loading on Canvas for me.

I have done all the tech "resets" I can think of short of uninstalling Chrome. Rebooted device, cleared cache, did updates to software, turned on/of extensions, etc.

I started having this same problem yesterday, except my screen just goes gray without the error message. Likewise, it happens both in Studio as well as in my Canvas assignments. I teach using a flipped model, so this is a huge problem for me in creating new content for my students.

I've never cleared the cache on my MacBook (my work device), so once I got those instructions and cleared the cache, my Studio problem was resolved. In case anybody else is having this issue but doesn't know how to clear their cache, maybe this will help. I was looking for History rather than More Tools. 

Open Google Chrome

1. At the top right, look for a button with 3 little dots. Click on the 3 dots.
2. Look down the menu for "More Tools" and click on that.
3. Next, click on "Clear Browsing Data".
4. It will open a new tab. For the time range, select "All Time"
5. Check the boxes next to “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files,”
6. Click Clear data.
7. Close all Chrome tabs and then open a fresh one, go to Canvas, sign in and try to view Studio.

I was also able to replicate this issue earlier this evening.  I'd suggest reporting this to Canvas Support so that they can log the issue and have their software engineers look into it with more detail.  The more reports they can get, the better.

How do I get help with Canvas as an instructor?

As it turned out, clearing my cache fixed the problem! I was already working from home.

Thanks - I had to clear the cache + cookies, delete an extension that I hadn't authorized, and then restart. That worked - thank you all!
