YouTube Videos not ad free

Canvas studio is no longer filtering out ads for YouTube videos. How do I remove ads from YouTube videos?

We are very much aware of the change YouTube introduced in their ad serving policy and currently working on a solution.

I chatted with Canvas this morning.  YouTube has updated something to cause this. I am frustrated too.   😞 They said that the engineers will probably look into it.

Students just told me that some of the ads also cause the video to go ahead and skip the questions I wrote for them to answer.  They can re-watch, but this is definitely causing problems.

@AkosFarago, is your team aware of this? Do you know if your team will be able to work around what Google/YouTube has done?

As you have information to share about the status, even if it is something to the effect of "we are trying", can you please either return to this question or post something at The Product Blog - Instructure Community with the "Studio" tag?

Also, will this be documented at https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Known-Issues/tkb-p/issues with a "Studio" tag?

The question forums, the product blog, and the known issues webpages are common locations that people go to (especially Instructure Coaches like myself) when they are experiencing a problem.
