vtt or srt

Hi, I understand that .vtt files are not ideal to be added to videos in Canvas as they cannot then be edited. How do people convert their .vtt files into .srt files?

I just did a search in Google for converting *.vtt files to *.srt files, and here are a couple sites that popped up.  Please note that I have never used these myself, so fair warning:
