"Use Rubric for Assignment Grading" Issue

With the most recent update to Enhanced Rubrics, we can now check the "use rubric for assignment grading" option at the rubric level instead of the assignment level. This is amazing!!!

When testing out the feature though, I noticed there's a slight glitch.

Let's say I make an assignment and I initially set the point value to 40 points. Afterwards, I add a rubric with the "use rubric for assignment grading" enabled. However, the rubric is worth 50 points.

With "old" rubrics, we'd get a pop-up message saying the point values do not match, and we can choose to ignore or change the assignment value to match the rubric value. This isn't the case with Enhanced Rubrics.

After adding the 50 point rubric, it appears the rubric successfully attaches to the assignment, but there is no pop-up message. The assignment still reflects the original 40 points. To get the assignment to reflect the 50 points from the rubric, I need to refresh the browser. This is going to confuse faculty and send them in a panic.

I would love to see the same type of "old" functionality, where Enhanced Rubrics tells us we are adding a rubric that doesn't match the point value of the assignment, and gives us the option to ignore or automatically change the assignment point value to match the rubric point value.
