Hi all,
Pardon me if this issue has been mentioned before. I am new to this group and have only started testing the enhanced rubrics.
It is very often to see multiple rubrics with very similar titles; the "Copy" is automatically added when you duplicate a rubric, and the "(1)", "(2)" also added by the system when you edit the rubric during the add an existing rubric process.
Now, in another assignment page, when you try to find/add a rubric, a slide-out pane shows up on the right and list the rubrics already existent in the course. The slide out pane, unfortunately has fixed width, and the rubric titles are mostly cut out. It is not possible to discern/select the correct rubric, especially when the total pts and number of criteria are the same. Putting the mouse over the partial title won't bring up the full title of the rubric either.
I hope this can be addressed in future release or explained to me why this is a good UI design. Thank you.

Hi @Shou-BangJian, this is an interesting point, thanks for raising it. We keep the slide-out pane a fixed width throughout Canvas to quickly show settings, or additional information without covering anything else on the page. Totally understand that it's frustrating to have the rubric names cut off. A few suggestions come to mind - in the search bar you can type in the number '1' or whatever # copy your looking for and those rubrics should appear quickly. You can also update the names of the rubrics when you're editing them and just move the 1 to the beginning.
