Reporting a problem

I created accounts on both Canvas.instructure and K12.instructure using the same email address. Right now, I can only access my K12.instructure account through my email. I'm unable to access my Canvas account. I need to recover my Canvas account as soon as possible. Can you help me with this? Please help me urgently, I really need my canvas account.

Have you tried directly signing in with this URL for your other Canvas account? canvas.instructure.com.

If not, a possible solution would be to click on your guided course template that is provided to you when you sign up at canvas.instructure.com, that should also appear on your k12.instructure.com dashboard, as both instances are technically connected. All of your k12.instructure.com courses should also appear on your canvas.instructure.com dashboard, as well under the same account. Upon clicking on that course, it will take you to the canvas.instructure.com account instead of the k12.instructure.com account.

Hello, 

Is there any solution for this? I can't find my guided course template.  I used the same email for both and whenever I logged in it only direct me to k12.infrastructure, and it has an empty course.

No, I can't log in my canvas.instructure account only my k12.instructure account. Is there any possible solution to recover my canvas.instructure account?

@ShandyMarientes , then this means you actually never registered for an account with canvas.instructure.com. When you registered, you selected that you were using canvas in a k12 environment, so it provided you with access to an account on the k12 free for teacher version instead of just the normal one. Do understand, both the k12 and normal canvas free for teacher instances are connected, the only difference you'll see are the color themes and stuff depending on what course you have created under a specific sub-account for those instances while you're in those select courses.

If you are still interested in a normal canvas free for teacher account, please register at canvas.instructure.com and click Sign Up in the top right hand corner, and select that you're a teacher. Please sign up with the same email you used with k12.instructure.com to ensure they're connected.
