Transform Learning with Canvas Studio
Introducing media in the classroom can offer a great range of benefits for both instructors and students. Canvas Studio media can be seamlessly integrated in the course to help foster an engaging and accessible multimedia experience.
How can you achieve this?
Impact now offers a suite of Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) campaigns customized to boost the adoption of Canvas Studio among your Instructors and Students. In order to empower the adoption of Canvas Studio within the classroom environment, our campaigns are designed to align with the ADKAR change management model.
A total of five Instructor and two Student Studio-focused campaigns can be launched strategically throughout the academic term(s) to support your users through the process of utilizing Studio. These campaigns help familiarize users with the tool, and provide knowledge of ability and best practices.

Measure the Impact
Our OOTB campaigns offer a set of monitor categories to help you track adoption progress. You can use the generated insights to make data-driven decisions.
Based on the tool adoption outcomes from the initial campaign, you can target specific user groups according to their need for further support. For example, you can launch a more targeted campaign to increase adoption of online assessment tools only among the users who need further guidance, without causing repetition and cognitive overload to those instructors who are already onboard.
As you can see in the figure below, you can create new campaigns by targeting users based on their activity.

What is Canvas Studio?

Campaign title: Raising awareness about Canvas Studio: Instructors
This is an introductory campaign that informs instructors about ways to access Canvas Studio and to embed media via the RCE, while instilling enthusiasm about Studio benefits in teaching and learning experience.
Student
Campaign title: Raising awareness about Canvas Studio: Students
This campaign introduces students to Canvas Studio and the various advantages it presents. Students will learn the basics on how to access Studio media as well as how to embed them in the course via the RCE.
Phase 2: Knowledge & Ability
Leveraging Studio
Instructor
Campaign title: Optimize learning with Studio: Instructor
Once Instructors grasp the fundamentals of Studio as an exciting media tool, this campaign will instill the knowledge and ability to use Studio media that will enhance student knowledge acquisition in an interactive learning environment. Each tool is presented alongside best practices guides to foster confidence in implementing Studio in the classroom.
Student
Campaign title: Optimize learning with Studio: Student
Once Students are ready for a media-enriched learning journey, this campaign can introduce more advanced concepts of Studio alongside best practices to help them upgrade their submissions and enhance their learning.
Develop Studio Quizzes
Campaign title: Walkthrough: Create a Canvas Studio Quiz
This Walkthrough Campaign guides Instructors through the process of creating a Canvas Studio video quiz. Once Instructors are confident using Studio features and adding Studio quizzes to their course, they will be ready to combine Studio with Assignments, Quizzes, and Mastery paths in the Reinforcement Phase.
Phase 4: Reinforcement
Ignite engagement in learning
Campaign title: Studio unleashed: Elevating assignments and discussions
This campaign empowers Instructors to use Studio as part of the assessment process to achieve an engaging learning environment and facilitate students’ knowledge retention.
Media-enhanced Mastery Paths
Campaign title: Ignite Mastery Paths with Studio
This campaign presents the benefits of combining Studio media and Mastery Paths and provides best practices around the implementation of media in the content of Mastery Paths. This ensures a personalized learning experience that interweaves interactive learning material with engaging assessments tailored to individual needs.
It is recommended to release these campaigns exclusively to Instructors who have successfully adopted and actively use Studio, as well as Canvas assignments, discussions, and mastery paths. You can gauge assignment usage by referring to the data from previous assignment campaigns’ tool adoption area.
