We use specific information in our SSID's that allow us identify course types. It would be nice to be able to use these as part of the assign to in messaging so we can target specific student and faculty. For example: 202501_D_PSY241_11047, we would be able to use the 202501_D to target current courses with the delivery method to all of our fully online courses. Similarly, we would be able to run reports using this method and can quickly sort by ID to break down our delivery types.
Include the SSID (Canvas course ID) as an option for targeted messaging as well as reporting from Insights to allow us to send messages and run reports for specific student populations. Our ID's include delivery method so we're able to sort and filter by them: 202501_D_PSY241_11047 is our TERM_DELIVERYMETHOD_COURSE_CRN. Easily filtered and contains information specific to the type of class.
