We present Northwestern’s custom PeopleSoft SIS-Canvas automated synchronization system, and detail its planning and implementation. The object/relational architecture consists of independent services for Loading, Diffing, Staging, Submitting, and Monitoring data feeds. Its solid, fault tolerant operation includes status notifications, administration panels, and service exposure for SOA-based LTI tools.
