You Almost Feel Like You're There

Not having the chance to attend instcon​ this year, I knew the only way to keep up with the organized chaos that is Instructure, would be through social media and live streaming.

So to all of those out there who continue to share your fun, knowledge, and new conference wisdom with the #instcon tag, I thank you. Tidbits of speaker highlights through Twitter and Instagram make it impossible for me to be an effective employee this week. At first, I was feeling a little depressed about not being present at the keynote last night, but as I sat behind my laptop with a big bowl of ice cream in my PJs - I thought ... this works too.

Thanks to all you instcon  goers who are letting us attend vicariously through your hashtags! Keep having fun for all of us not there.

Thanks for your post,  @judyk ​​. Like you, I've also been following the #instcon hashtags for updates and am grateful for all the insights and feedback people are posting. As  @dlyons ​ said in his post Third Times the Charm​, InstructureCon creates FOMO and even when you ARE attending, the online community has a way of filling in the gaps.
