In this session, we'll explore effective practices for leveraging learner-generated data in the Canvas Network platform to inform web-based course design. First we'll present FAQs by faculty who taught MOOC courses via Canvas Network. Then we'll demonstrate tools we built for harvesting, analyzing, and visualizing learning data from Canvas Network. Finally, we'll discuss using the results to inform the efficacy of course design for greater engagement. (This session is intended for an instructional design/Canvas Network audience.)
