Abstract / Session Overview:

Three Big 10 higher education institutions (University of Iowa, University of Maryland, and University of Michigan) will share their background experience implementing, customizing, and supporting of Canvas Catalog across their institutions and for utilization beyond the campus experience. During this panel, we will discuss similarities and differences regarding how each instance is set up, and discuss lessons learned.

Bio

Jessica Sowalsky is the Enterprise Learning Technology Systems Manager at the University of Maryland, College Park, and holds a Ph.D. in Education with an emphasis in E-Learning. She is the administrator of Canvas and Canvas Catalog, the University's enterprise LMS and non-credit course platform, respectively. Her research interests include the application of learning theories in instructional technology and human-computer interaction.
