The California State University (CSU) system has taken a bold step in revolutionizing its professional development programs by integrating Canvas LMS with Canvas Credentials. This systemwide approach has empowered CSU’s 23 universities, faculty, staff, and students to engage in seamless, badge-driven pathways that reflect both academic growth and workforce readiness. In this session, we will walk through CSU’s innovative use of Canvas and Canvas Credentials to deploy systemwide professional development initiatives and demonstrate how industry-recognized micro-credentials are being incorporated into academic courses for both students and faculty.
