We integrated brief, targeted pop-up surveys, using Canvas Impact, for immediate insights, allowing for rapid course adjustments and addressing issues before they significantly impact student learning outcomes. Future to include expanding surveys to faculty.

Supported by research about assessment best practices and chock full of useful tips and how-to information, this presentation highlights ways instructors of any discipline can use New Quizzes features with other Canvas tools in innovative ways to create more authentic, engaging, higher-cognitive-level assessments that promote learning—while still saving time grading large numbers of students.
