With the Federal Title II ADA regulation mandating that schools comply with the latest web accessibility guidelines, many teachers and administrators are wondering where to start. This session will explore how to leverage Canvas's features to create inclusive learning experiences that cater to diverse learners through the power of the new Universal Design for Learning (UDL) 3.0 guidelines while also complying with the latest accessibility standards. This session will examine the action plan that one district followed to translate UDL principles into actionable goals to harness Canvas as a powerful tool for accessible learning. From designing the initial road map to create buy-in at all levels to leveraging Canvas to design and distribute learning materials, attendees will understand the principles of accessible learning to create their own road map to inclusive learning.
