@kyle_cole I liked your responses to the first round so much that I have a new round of ideas for you:
- It would be nice if the navigation links at the top were more blatantly buttons/links. The Analytics Hub link should also have the icon used for that link in other areas.
- CSV exports should not separate course titles that include a comma. Currently it splits these because it reads the comma in the course title the same as the commas being used for separating values.
- CSV exports should include information regarding the dates covered by the report. Currently, there is nothing in the file indicative if what period of time the data represents.
- Can we have exports in formats other than CSV? Maybe Google Sheets or Excel files?
- Can one of the export formats retain the hyperlinks available in the online reports? Currently, the reports online have links to courses or users, but the export file does not.
- Instructor Champions only includes their names (which are not necessarily unique); could those hyperlink to full profiles of those users?
- Could Instructor Champions possibly include TAs? It is not uncommon for a TA to be handling most of the nitty-gritty in an LTI.
- Avg launches per user might be a nice stat to include (to help account for enrollment size when looking at use frequency).
- In the Course Usage report, could there be some way to contact the instructors of those courses? Maybe through Messaging?
- Where do the roles come from? How can we track at which level they exist (account or course, root account or subaccount)?
- Can we know which tools are integrated at the account, subaccount, or course level?
- Can we know the placements of the tools and have differentiated launch data per placement (if we filter by placement)?
- Can we know who installed the tool?
- Can we have notifications for things such as:
- When a new tool is added to the usage data
- When tools surpass or drop below specific benchmarks of usage
- overall
- by subaccount
- by specific instructors
Again, thank you for all of the hard work the Intelligent Insights team is investing in developing this tool and taking the time to listen to our feedback.
