When using Mastery Tracker to create an assessment, is there a way to format the answer to a math question to be any numeric value in a range between two specified values? I've tried multiple ways and when I test the answers they come back as invalid/incorrect.
Hi @DMorris85! Great question! At first, I didn't think it was possible, but the Cloze Math Formula item type seems to support an answer involving a "tolerance" of "plus or minus" an answer, and thusly, a range of values. For example, if the correct answer is any value between -3 and -7, use the EquivValue Method type and enter the correct answer as being -5 [click the +/- sign on the number pad] 2. Then, any answer between -3 and -7 is taken as correct. Might this work for you? - Jen
