Equivalent Ratios

I added a question to a study guide that I made. It is asking what the ratio of blue marbles to total marbles is. There are 6 blue marbles to 40 total marbles. If it were in my class, I would accept 6:40 as an answer. No where in the problem does it specify to simplify. I know that it simplifies to 3:20. However, would Mastery Connect accept either as an answer? Both are an answer option and according to the computer made key, the simplest one is the correct answer. I am asking to know if they would get credit on the district common assessment that will be used as their first 9-week exam.

@ParsheenaBerch  - If the item is set up as a Math item and you select the option for "Numerically equal to" , you can set the correct response to be 6:40 and the answer 3:20 would also be accepted as correct. Hope this helps! Jen
