I recently created a quiz where students give each other feedback on a game they have created.
I set the quiz up as a stimulus question (with a link to the game as the stimulus) and then 6 questions for the students to answer based on the stimulus.
I saved questions to the bank and used them in each of the stimuli.
Students have accessed the stimulus and then answered the six questions and the quiz seems to work properly.
My plan was to export the results to a CSV file and then collate each games feedback to give to their respective owners.
Unfortunately, when I export the CSV file, it only shows the results for one stimulus.
Is there something I am missing?
Hello!
I recently discovered that you can print a pdf version of a student's responses to a new quiz. If you click on the attempt link in the moderate page there's an option at the top to print results. Would that help in this situation?
Hi there!
Thank you for taking the time to respond!
I did see that option when exploring. Unfortunately I got over-eager when creating the quiz and each or the 20+ stimuli has 6 questions. When I went to go print that (I considered hard copy and pdf), it was going to be 66 pages per student.
Unfortunately, this became too unwieldly to coordinate for my 5 classes.
I am in the process of finding a way to use canvas' peer feedback system as a stop gap. I am still hoping that someone will find a solution so that the students didn't waste their time this week giving feedback.
Thanks so much for your suggestion!
Good morning!
Bummer:( I'm sorry to hear that won't work. This is a case where the technology doesn't seem to support the creative pedagogy that keeps students engaged. I hope the peer review option works for you!
