Filtering by alpha order or Section in New Quizzes

It is very difficult to analyze, grade, and moderate in new quizzes without filters. We need the ability to sort by course section or in alpha order.  Student submissions appear to be added into new quizzes in a random order, thus locating a student is complicated. Alpha order seems to be a very simple and logical addition when you consider grading purposes and procedures.

Do you mean that when you are in Speed Grader, the "Next" button seems to go to a random student?

Go into SpeedGrader. Look at the top left. Do you see a set of 3 icons: A grade book, an eye, and a gear? If so, click on the gear. Then click on "Options." You should be able to set the sorting order of the students there.

Or, do you mean you want to sort the order of students in the GradeBook?

In the GradeBook, near the top left, hover your mouse over "Student Name" and click on the 3 dots. Go to "Sort By" and try a few of them. One should sort them by last name.

Or do you want something else in alphabetical order?
