Item bank images are no longer working

I have several teachers that are saying images within their item bank questions are not showing in their quizzes. This is an issue that many say they have never had before and they have been using item banks for awhile. I wasn't sure if this is something that someone else had ever had issues with, and if you have what did you do to solve it. Thanks!

We are also having this problem.  When talking with support, they said it's a known issue and their engineers are working on it. I've looked at some other blogs that give an end-of-September timeline. UGH. 

The only thing we have found is to completely remake the quiz, which for several of our instructor courses is rough as they have thousands of images that show technical drawings. 

We are in week 5 of the semester and want to know what happened to make the images stop showing up.
