Hello,
My institution turned on New Quizzes in PROD. When migrating a Classic quiz to a New Quiz I get an email notification saying that my Course Export Finished and I am provided a link to view exports even though there are no exports to view. This email notification is misleading and can confuse our teachers.
Is there a reason why we get a Course Export Finished email?
Great observation, I have seen those e-mails fly into my inbox when I was testing the migration but didn't pay attention to what they said, I do receive the same generic message every time I migrate a quiz. A different message or taking the user to a useful page (like the new quiz) would be helpful in reducing confusion. I don't see anything I can download and the message implies I created a course backup which is incorrect messaging, it would cause confusion to most faculty.

@masantos When you are converting/migrating a Classic quiz to a New Quiz it is considered an export within the course itself. The email is just a notification that the export has been completed. This is mostly likely why you don't see the exports, because it has been completed and should find it in the New Quizzes now. You can definitely change the settings for email notifications to avoid getting these type of emails. You will go to your account settings and then select Notifications in the menu. You will see a variety areas you can choose to be notified about and those you can toggle off.
