Studio Release Notes (2022-09-26)

In this Studio release (September 26), basic cut and trim video editing options are available for Studio media. 

Studio release notes indicate features and updates that are currently available in the Studio beta environment. These updates will be available in production environments on the date indicated by the release notes.

 New Features

Media Editing

Basic cut and trim video editing options are available for Studio media. This update allows media owners to easily edit media within Studio itself, rather than having to edit media in a third-party editing software.

To edit media, select the Edit Media option.

To remove a section of the media, click the Cut button. To remove parts of the beginning and/or end of the media, click the Trim button.

To cut media, drag the selection slider to the desired location on the media player. To confirm, click the Confirm Cut button.

To trim media, drag the selection slider to the desired location on the media player. To confirm, click the Confirm Trim button.

To save changes, select the Replace original video or the Create a copy option. Then, click the Save button.
