@BrennaBateman It sounds like that student must have opened an attempt before the version was updated. If you have her submit and just give them an additional attempt, she should see the new version. I know you mentioned giving everyone a second attempt, but you didn't mention if she had already submitted the first attempt. If this solution does not work, you will want to open a ticket with Instructure, as that would be really weird.
