[ARCHIVED] Assignment /one doc for each student

Hi! I created an assignment in canvas using a google doc that is set up as share the link with people in MCPS can edit.

I thought that each student will have a copy of the doc, but , I see that the first student getting to the document is modifying the doc. for all the class. What should I do?

For clarification, are you following the instructions outlined in this Guide?  How do I create a cloud assignment with a Google Drive file?
