That means a lot to me. The Canvas Community and that feeling of not being alone is what initially attracted me to Canvas and it was a main driver in my decision to sell my house in Washington and move to Utah to join what was then a relatively small tech start up company. Being a part of this has been exciting and gratifying.
But the work that makes this community what it is today began much earlier with the culture that our CEO and founders created - we're open and do our best to be transparent. Yes, we know that our competitors read about the great ideas and the frustrations that community members post but we think the opportunities for us all to work together and be successful outweigh the potential negatives.
Since those early days, I am very grateful that Instructure has made community a priority, investing major resources and allowing people like Deactivated user. @biray , @Renee_Carney and I to work with others inside the company (Customer Success, Product) and Canvas users in the community to try to help in the hard times and celebrate the successes.
Thanks again for your feedback. It doesn't go unnoticed and we always appreciate the openness of our community.
