When assignment enhancements are turned on students lose the ability to view the Turnitin similarity report on the student assignment feedback page. Adding this score would be beneficial to the students. And it is available with the enhancements turned off. With the new enhancements, they are unaware there is even a similarity score unless they click Grades which is usually after the assignment has been graded so they miss the opportunity to make improvements and resubmit.   I am not sure where it should go on the page. Looks like there isn’t a lot of real estate for smaller browsers to put it near the grade area. Maybe by the submitted attempts area (see hopefully attached image).  Or maybe could go somewhere in the flyout view feedback box. I had a consult with a faculty member, and he mentioned the placement of the rubric on the Assignment page in Student View because it is not in an optimal location.  If a faculty member has a detailed assignment description and a lengthy rubric, then the assignment page become very long and cumbersome, especially when the assignment submission area is below the rubric placing. This means the students has to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page before they can get to the submission area. In an earlier iteration of this feature, the rubric was a separate tab students could click to view. I'm not sure if that is possible to go back to, but the current state is not good.  ... View more

Hi all For the Assignment Enhacement feature, the language used for the button for a student to resubmit to an assignment has been updated. I've attached an image below, showing the text as it now reads, "Try Again". Is there any scope to change this text, either institutionally or to rename it back to the previous text, "New Attempt"? Within our Higher Education institution, our technical user group feels this may be somewhat inappropriate language for our students when they come to submit often weighted essays and are to undertake online examinations, and there may potentially some be some user confusion as to if their submission has gone through or not, with 'try again' being the anxiety-inducing type of phrase you may expect to see with any kind of internet or connectivity issue preventing a student from recording a submission to their assignment. Can we configure the submission type choices to reorder them, or omit/move Office and prefer Google? When we test, the Google option is hidden behind the kebab menu. We generally avoid Office, although it is technically an option for our people. ... View more
