We are new users of Canvas Catalog and are trying to restrict registrations based on email domains. According to the setting in the Catalog Information tab, "Only domains you add to the list below will be allowed to register." However, this restriction does not seem to be working. Despite implementing the restrictions, we can still log in with Canvas accounts using email domains that are not listed and complete the course for free.
I searched the guides and found two posts from 2020, but nothing more recent. Can anyone provide guidance on this issue?

@shellyp2c We have only blocked domains and that works as expected.
I would recommend submitting a support ticket if it is not working as expected.
@shellyp2c What are you trying to accomplish?
We have put all our professional development courses in Canvas, and have created listings, programs, and catalogs for different clients/audiences. We have set up a Catalog for one client that is not on our public site and added their email domains to the restrictions, however when we test creating a canvas account with other emails mails, it allows us to register and complete the course. Thus we have figured out that the domain restrictions are not working as expected.
I also created a new catalog, added a course, put in one allowed email domain just to test and got the same result. I was able to register for that catalog and complete the course, using a new canvas account I created with a different domain than was listed.
I have been an LMS admin for over 15 years but this is my first time working with Canvas Catalog and we want to double check everything is working as expected before deploying to our clients.
Is there someone that we can meet with to walk us through the process?
