Multiple Authors on a Commons Resource

Hi Everyone,

I have shared multiple resources on the Commons, so the multiple stages can use them within my school. Whenever I update or change them I share to Commons as an update (picture below).

I have shown the teachers how to edit and update the modules and quizzes and would like them to update the same resource share on Commons. However, they are not an author, so they are unable to do so.

Is there a way to have multiple authors on a shared resource on the Commons?

I also have this question - and it's especially confusing since it says 'Author(s)' which seems to imply you can have more than one.

Apologies for this question being out in the Community for so long without a solution.  I just looked at the Commons Guides, and I found the following:

How do I update a resource I previously shared to ... - Instructure Community - 1813 (canvaslms.com)

Pay particular attention to the first paragraph in the light blue box at the top of this Guide.  It states:

If you modify a resource (learning activity) in Canvas that was previously shared to Commons, you can share the modified resource to Commons again to update the existing resource in Commons. Only the user who originally shared a resource to Commons can update resource content. However, administrators can edit resource details.

However, as @Mary_W_W mentions, it is a bit odd that the screenshot from @ChrisPren does show "Author(s)".  I'm not sure what to tell you there, unfortunately.

We 'solved' this issue with 'role-based users' that multiple people could log in as. Cheap shortcut for your helpdesk doing updates, masquerade as the user and you never have to remember the password.
