In the Course search, it would be nice to be able to fuzzy search with a placeholder. We have some special numbering around course section numbers, so the ability to search for BIO 1xx courses with a section in the 20s (BIO-1*-2) would be useful. Similarly in Names, the ability to search a partial Last Name and First (e.g. S*John) to find someone named John with a last name starting with "S".
I'm not familiar with the search logic, but ability to search with a placeholder is fairly standard.
