While there is a notification along the bottom of the screen, I can understand how additional visuals could be helpful to some users. I look forward to hearing other Community members' insights.

For reference: How do I access the Canvas beta environment as an instructor?

I would also like to see this enhancement. As it is now it uses the same color scheme as Test, and says "Canvas Test Installation" on the footer, which was confusing to me at first. Technically it is a "test" environment, but not THE test environment. Let's call it out for what it is, a fail-fast beta environment.

I vote for this too. Just today I invited someone to a class in Beta when I meant to invite him to the one in Production. Oops.
