Most of our students use the mobile app to access Canvas. We send out links to quarterly Student Surveys as a Global Announcement. If students using the mobile app close that announcement, they are unable to retrieve it and take the survey. This makes it difficult for students to participate and for the college to get a good response rate on the survey.
I propose that a link to Global Announcements be added to the top left slide-out menu accessible from the mobile Dashboard. This is already an option on the web version of Canvas, and would be a useful addition to the mobile app.
