[New Quizzes] Integrate External Tools

Problem statement:

The lack of an ability to use external tools in New Quizzes is a surprising negative in the otherwise wonderful achievement that is New Quizzes. In a modern era, filled with the use of AI, Assignments, Quizzes, Tests, Exams of any stripe need to be able to build-in external tools, such as Turnitin and YuJa Quizzes. Without this ability to integrate external tools, the workload for faculty is doubled at least, and can expected to be a significant reason behind a reluctance to adopt New Quizzes.

Proposed solution:

Build in an ability to integrate external tools in New Quizzes. I know this is much easier said than done, but I really do feel that the lack of an ability to integrate external tools is truly problematic. Thank you for listening. And thank you for all you do.

Good afternoon, I just returned from InstructureCon 2025, where I revisited this question.   I found out that the intention is to ultimately evolve New Quizzes from an LTI to a built-in function, as is currently the case for Classic Quizzes.   Therefore, I think there's a light at the end of the tunnel for this.  Please feel free to close this idea, as I believe it will be resolved in the future, once the functionality is embedded in Canvas.
