Notifications by Course

It would be great to be able to set notifications for each individual course.  There have been many times that I needed really detailed notifications and other times I needed nearly zero notifications.  Under the current system it is all or none.

This idea was suggested over 4 years ago - why this is taking so long to address when there is massive support for the change is unclear. This is an important change to better enable responsiveness to students. If it could be set by course and assignment, that would be even better. Without it, I have to scroll through all of my students' assignments on a daily basis to see if they have responded to my feedback. This is inefficient and easily solved.

YES...much needed feature when I have two or more courses, especially when I am the 2nd instructor for a course and the 1st instructor is handling all the student conversations, etc.

At least have our email notifications separate by course ID which notifications come from which course for any given day! Only certain notifications (e.g. "new comment in discussion" or "quiz submitted") have the course number included.
