[Outcomes] Hiding Program Outcome Criterion from Student View
Our school is contemplating using the Outcomes feature of Canvas to allow accounts to build outcomes that are meant to be part of the program evaluation and not the evaluation of students. When using these outcomes as criterion in a rubric, it is currently possible to deselect the use this criterion for grading; however, students can still see the selections made by the instructor when they view the rubric (and also see those criterion as part of the rubric).
Add another option that not only removes the criterion from scoring, but also removes the criterion from student view on the rubric. This allows faculty to assess progress that is meant to be across entire departments separately from progress within their specific class. I think it should be something that each instructor can decide individually in the same way that they can decide whether or not to use the rubric as part of the scoring.
