The current placement of the fudge point box is too close to the score box for the last question on a quiz. This can lead to accidental misentry of scores when grading.
Proposed solution:
To avoid confusion, I suggest moving the fudge point box to the top of the page, as others have requested, or shifting it further to the left to ensure it's not mistaken for the score box of the last question.
This earlier suggestion was one that I was going to make:
https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Ideas/Speedgrader-Fudge-points-box-added-to-the-top-of-the...
This is very important. I often have to add about 100 fudge points per exam, and moving the fudge points box up would help. There's a browser keymap that allows jumping to the bottom of the page, but it should be at the top of the page.
However, it would still be a very slow process. On a final exam, I have at least 100 questions. In speedgrader, when I go to the next student, it takes half a second to a second for the page to load. Then, once I click submit for the fudge points, it takes a second or two--a long time--before the fudge points are reflected in the students' score. And here's the frustrating thing: If I go to the next student before I see the score updated, the fudge points don't take, and I have to go back and do it again. Since I have 100 students to do this with, it's a repetitive process, and it's easy to forget to wait for the score to update. So I end up having to carefully check that all of the fudge points have been added, afterwards.
Proposed solution:
Apart from moving the fudge points box up to the top, speeding up the page load and updating seems to require work on the web interface and your database system.l
