It was a welcome change to see Student View retitled to the clearer "View as Student". Currently this view does not work when a staff member uses the button to see what students are seeing in the assignment, when the assignment is assigned individually (and the test student is not one of these). As a result we get numerous queries from staff about the missing view.
When a user clicks the View as Student button, and Canvas cannot display the content (because the test user is not assigned) please display a warning message such as "View as student is not available for this assignment. I would hope this would be quick to implement - in the medium term we want to be able to have the view available please.
