To-do List Doesn't show assignments that are due later than a week

The problem I'm having with the mobile to-do list, which I exclusively use to check for upcoming assignments, is that it only shows assignments a week in advance. My professors have set up their classes so that we have two weeks to complete assignments but due to Canvas's set up, I only notice when they show up on my to-do list, and they can show up as late as only a few days earlier than when they're due (for example, I have two assignments due Monday that only appeared in my to-do list Friday).
This is really frustrating with my ADHD because if it's not in the to-do list, then it's nonexistent in my mind.
I've already synced my academic calendar to my phone's native calendar system but that's not really useful.
Are there any settings I can change in the app that would allow for me to adjust how far out my to-do list goes?
