Canvas Teacher Release Notes (iOS 1.37)

Canvas iOS app version updates are distributed in a phased rollout, which distributes the update to all users enrolled in automatic updates over time. The features in these notes may not immediately be available, but iOS users can manually update the app at any time in the App Store. The Canvas Teacher iOS App requires iOS 16.0 or later.

Teacher App Updates

• Grade statuses in SpeedGrader include additional detail for clearer feedback.
• A late-days picker has been added to SpeedGrader for more flexible grading.
• In portrait mode, SpeedGrader includes dedicated controls for adjusting drawer size.
• Submission list updates correctly after grading actions.
• Re-submitted attempts are correctly sorted under the Submitted section in the submission list.
• Not submitted entries no longer display under the Others section.
• When using rubrics, not submitted entries are appropriately filtered out.
• The camera displays reliably on the QR login screen.
• Navigation bar subtitle headers display as expected at larger accessibility font sizes (200%+).
