Add multiple courses in one Canvas course

Hi,

I have multiple subjects and all the subjects have their assessments, quizzes.

So,  I need to create multiple courses for multiple subjects.

But the problem is that we have students for different classes.

And If we create courses for every subject, that will be a huge messed up.

For example,

I have a class of 1st year and they have 4 courses.

I need to create 4 courses and after that I need to add the users in that courses separately.

That will cause much more time.

So,

Is there any method, in which I can create all 4 courses and then combined them with the name of 1st year class.

And then add the users in the combined one course.

Please, let me know your thoughts.

Thanks,

Syed Toheed Gillani

You could cross-list your courses which would combine them.

Cross-listing allows you to move section enrollments from individual courses and combine them into one course. This feature is helpful for instructors who teach several sections of the same course and only want to manage course data in one location. Instructors can allow students to view users in other sections or limit them to only view users in the same section. Section names do not change when they are cross-listed; the section is just moved to another course.

Please have a look at the guide below for help with that.

How do I de-cross-list a section in a course as an instructor?
