Adding Student as a role to course enrolment dropdown option

I'm wanting to add Student as a role to the dropdown menu to add them to the course, but can't find where to do that..

Hi @MarkEllison1,

You will probably need to reach out to your school/institution's IT or eLearning Support areas to find out about this for sure.  I'd say more than likely, your school/institution has set up teacher permissions to not allow adding people with the student role because that's normally done via official registration processes.  There may also be a separate process outside of Canvas to request student additions, but none of us in the community will know your school's processes and procedures.
