Announcement 'Copy To' Feature Error
We are currently getting an error when a specific role is attempting to 'Copy To' an announcement into another course.
The role attempting to do this does have the Discussion create/moderate features but does not have the Course Content (add/edit/delete) permission.
Does not having the Course Content (add/adit/delete) permission cause the below error when attempting to 'Copy To' an announcement?

Since announcements are not discussions, then discussion permissions are not going to permit a user to add or copy course content!
You will need to provide the user with content permissions.
This document will help: Canvas Role Permissions PDF.
I hope this helps,

@kmeeusen Thank you for the quick response! For my clarity, the 'Discussions - create'/'Discussion - moderate' permissions do allow a user to add an announcement, though you are saying it just won't let them copy an announcement from one course to another without the 'Course Content - add/edit/delete' permission?

Yes, that is my understanding.
But I have been wrong before - sooooo many times!
